Visited in April, awesome place, and food is great. I think it used to be a monastery then a funeral home, before Vivant.

I loved that place. The outdoor seating overlooks the gorge. Watching the windsurfers and kite surfers is pretty fun.

Holllllly crap I've been there before. I never put two and two together, but that rock and the sunset just pulled that memory out. Thanks :grinning:

Gilded Otter doesn't have great beer anymore, but the place is gorgeous and the views are stunning

I think we have a winner! Wow! Hope to get some MOAS soon, too.

    Cool story!

Endless possibilities here. I can't justify out-of-towners in my city. They always screw it up going to Geno's and shit. You know?

I am looking real hard for pictures of some of the breweries from Italy, particularly for Almond 22 in Abruzzo. Abruzzo is AMAZINGLy beautiful. Here is something close the town:

Their food is a bit hit and miss though St Mungo is as good a lager as I have drunk on tap. Not to so good bottled

Uncle Billy's at Lake Travis had a really nice view over the lake and a couple of beers that were good. Their GABF winning Bottle Rocket was excellent.[IMG]

Everybody's Brewing, in White Salmon, WA, has the best view of the Gorge and Mt. Hood from their rooftop deck. Selins Grove Brewery has a great room, in the basement of a very old building. Birdsview Brewing in Concrete, WA, sits very near the might Skagit River and is surrounded by the lower peaks of the Cascade Range. Eagles, hawks and various other birds soaring overhead make for an awesome time, too bad the beer is mehish (or worse sometimes). I haven't been yet, but Skookum Brewings new place across from the Arlington, WA airport, so us aviation geeks can watch planes come and go. I can't wait!

Hill Farmstead is great like much of Vermont for eye candy, another though in Vermont though for a great view is Von Trapp. Make sure to sit on the patio outside overlooking the mountains. Sorry wish I had a pic but dont.

I came in here to say this. I have gone here four years in a row for vacation in Michigan and each time my father, brother-in-law, and myself get a few pitchers and sit out on the deck. We overlook some heavily wooded trees into lake Michigan. It is gorgeous, and one of the few places I can honestly say I am at peace. HIGHLY recommended.

The Pelican is absolutely beautiful. MoAS release is certainly on my bucket list.
