I usually knocks points off for that. Or maybe that's what the rope marks off?

I wish I had a photo from off the back deck of Full Sail Brewing in Oregon. You sit up high on a hill overlooking the Columbia river watching wind surfing.

    Anyway.....

Odell in Fort Collins has a nice outdoor area. Upslope in Boulder also has a very scenic outdoor area. It looks like you can reach out and touch the snow on the mountains. Sierra Nevada in Asheville has a nice taproom.

But New Glarus's view/property are pretty tough to beat!

A good friend encouraged me and my wife to visit Buoy Brewing in Astoria, OR. This brewery is located at the mouth of the Columbia River with nice views. My wife took lots of photos but here are some 'stock' photos:

There is a window to view the Seals and Sea Lions underneath the brewery:

And the plus is that Buoy produces very good beers!

    Cheers!

P.S. My only regret from that visit is that we did not get a chance to see the house from the movie Goonies.:slight_frown:

@Resuin hell ya for Two Goats dude. I would also include Grist Iron (also in the Finger Lakes). It's up on the right side across from Two Goats, so you can see down into Seneca Lake.

That ALWAYS gets my #1 when this Q is raised or I am asked! I was blown away on my visit.
I'll have to see if I have pics, but #2 for me is when the rear garage door is open at Ever Grain in Camp Hill, PA. The vista of our part of the Appalachians & the Susquehanna River is stunning!

Shotwell Run Brewing in Etlan, VA has the best view I've ever seen at a brewery. I don't have any pictures, but they should be on their Instagram page.

For Ohio, I think Rockmill around Lancaster is probably the most scenic although I don't have any pictures of it right now to post

Once Twin Oast in Port Clinton/Catawba Island is really up and going and gets their landscaping all together, it will be great:

Southside Brewing/Georgetown Tavern Winery in Cambridge has a nice view of the town, but it's more winery than brewery (and they had none of their beer available the day I went there):

Those are the 3 that I've been to that come to mind for scenic breweries that I've been to.

I'll presume that you've been to the brewery and braved that driveway to get up there. It kind of motivates you from over-indulging while there if you're the person doing the driving on the way down.

You didn't miss much on The Goonies side of the trip. The owners are assholes and do everything they can to block views and prevent tourism photo ops.

Totally agree with you on the Buoy topic though. Watching the ships come in and out with those views in the background is something else.

    Cheers!

I'm find of many along the Columbia River Gorge.

Bouy in Astoria was great. Pelican, been two times for overnight stays.

Bale Breaker in Yakima has some nice hills in the background, surrounded by a hop yard.

Brewery Eck in Böbrich Niederbayern Bavaria has good view of the mountains.

Some great shots here. So many places w so little time. My two favorites that I have been to ar Pelican in Pacific City Or. and Full Sail in Hood River. At Pelican it is purportedly the last place on the west coast where fisherman launch their wooden dories through the surf to go fishing and it is also a surfing spot. Full Sail is a windsurfing area which is nice to watch as well.
