Please post a shortlist of glassware that you would consider necessary members of anyone's collection - for regular use & enjoyment primarily (not so much sheer collectability).

    Pics appreciated too.

    Brandy Snifter
    Sam Adams beer glass
20 or so 4oz tasters for verticals and flights

    That's it for me.

I find myself drinking just about everything out of a tulip nowadays. However, I have a go-to of each style, that I use more than others. Not necessarily my favorites, but I use them over others because of ergonomics, nostalgia, nose enhancement, or just 'cause. Since you wanted pics, I'll put up some of my favorites:

    Tulip:

    Snifter:

    Belgian Tulip/Wine:

Well, the pint or pub glass or tumbler or what have you is an obvious one, and its good to have several on hand. I've found myself using my weizen glass more often than expected, for wits and the occasional IPA. Lighter styles look really good in those curves.

Also, a really big beer mug for those occasions when you want a little more than usual. I've got a 24-oz'er that's come in handy on a semi-regular basis.

Everyone needs a Duvel glass, doesn't matter if it's an artist series or regular or what, just need one. Yes obvious answer.

CBS snifter. Obviously. How else can I enjoy an entire bomber of BCBCS from one snifter?

EDIT: In case you thought that was a joke (I know, Speedway is a 750, but you get the idea):

Oh that fateful night, just in case anyone didn't know, that picture was the last time that glass will ever be seen.

I really like this one - similar to the stone IPA glass. It is the best glass for aroma that I have.

Also really like my NB globe:

+1 for the NB glass. That's my go-to when I'm having trouble deciding what to use.

Picked this glass up at Kuhnhenn on a recent trip through Michigan. It's the only glass I use right now.

    For me it's
St. Bernardus snifter, Deuvel tulip, and a hefe glass

I've been meaning to get my hands on a cognac snifter too

    This is my go to:[IMG]

This glass does everything right. It's weighted perfectly; it holds more than a sip, but not too much; it's got curves in all the right places. It is as perfect all around glass as there is. The Duvel and the New Belgium are close seconds, but they just aren't as sexy as the HOTD tulip.

Damn, that is one sexy glass. Also, is that a KtG photobomb in the background?
