Mine was a TIPA by Fegley's BreWWorks called HOP'SOLUTELY.

    How about you?

I think you're missing about 20+ styles, papi.

To date, my favorite style(s) has been Gueuze and Fruit Lambic/Wild Ale. No matter the temp outside, nothing like a Funky, Sour brew! More refreshing in the summer though.

Mine was Crusher from the Alchemist. I would say this is the best beer I have ever had, and I usually think high ABV IPA's usually come off too sweet. I would hate to have their hop bill.

I entered the poll by mistake before I was done. Edited it.

Favorite beer among those I've tried this year has been New Belgium's Abbey Dubbel. So I guess that falls under the "Belgian Style" option in this poll?

Still a lot of beers (and styles) out there that I haven't tried yet, though. Who knows what my answer to the equivalent poll for 2015 might end up being... XD

The beer introduced in 2014 that I bought the most of, I'm guessing, was either Citra Mantra by Otter Creek, Bocky Bier by Pretty Things, or Hootenanny by Notch. So either a pale lager, a dark lager, or a Berliner.

DIPA... Sure Bet from pipeworks, so glad I got my hands on it.

Lagunitas born yesterday would be my #2 of 2014

I had many great beers this year, of varied and different styles, but ultimately it was Lawson's Double Sunshine for me, way back in January.

My IPA/DIPA field was pretty insane this year, too- between Heady Topper, Hop Drop n Roll, Revolution Unsessionable and Shape of Hops to Come among others- but something about the Double Sunshine came across as being so incredibly flavorful yet elegantly constructed.

Other serious contenders were Schlenkerla Fastenbier and Traunsteiner Helles.

Probably has more to do with where I am as a beer-lover than actual quality of beers being produced, but the best, most WOW!-inspiring beers for me this year were sours. RR Beatification, Lost Abbey Framboise de Amorosa, The Bruery Befuddlement, New Belgium Le Terroir are the four that come to mind right away. I still love and drink quite a few IPAs and stouts, but even the very best ones are not nearly as exciting as sours for me right now.

Pilsners are on the rise. I like the subtlety of them. But Lefthand's Nitro stout is my favorite again this year. Hmm, maybe I should have voted stout

Had my first Double Sunshine this past January as well and agree. I preferred it by a lot over Heady.

Anyway my favorite was a Quad
