Since people ask every other day about things do in Portland (and I am tired of typing lists to friends and family members visiting) I made a simple google map.

My favorite bars, breweries, coffee establishments, restaurants, points of interest, hotels...
Should be pretty easy to figure out. This is not an all inclusive list, it is places I like; feel free to make suggestions.

No idea how complete it is, but there's also this.

Here's one I made a while back to keep track of breweries & brewpubs in town: http://goo.gl/maps/mexVe

I think I have most of them on there (except McMenamin's). I also have the pins color-coded for places I've visited vs. places I haven't been to (yet). I'm still trying to hit every PDX brewery/brewpub at least once.

I didn't intend and don't intend for this to be an exhaustive list, merely a list of places I like and which I'd highly recommend during a visit. Some places have been left off of course.

Some tours was the next thing for me to add, thanks for the recs!

I created a similar map to guajolote: http://goo.gl/maps/U4zkB

Keep track of bars, breweries, and bottles shops I've been to. Also have notes on places describing the venue's specialties or any other important notes (cash only, no food, etc.)
