There's several high a.b.v DIPA's I like but hate that after 3 my face is going numb. If you could get some of your favorite beer in an N.A. style as well would you? As long as it tasted the same I would love it. I could have one or two alcohol ones get a nice buzz and still drink it with out getting any drunker. What's everyone elses thoughts?

I'd love to be able to drink a 4 pack of Double Trouble or a 6 pack of Hopslam, alternating alcohol and N.A. versions to suit my desired buzz level. Hell yes.

Alcohol is a huge part of the flavor profile. Especially on the beers mentioned. NA beers are for alcoholics. You don't want to get a buzz, stick to the session stuff or get a nice milkshake.

OP said "as long as it tasted the same" so let's suspend reality and say the taste of alcohol is still there, just not the effects. Use your imagination. I'd love to enjoy a couple delicious IPAs while on the road, or maybe a tasty stout after lunch at work. This would be a great option to have, if it were possible.

No alcohol, even with the same flavor, not worth the calories. If they could make it in a "Zero" flavor I would consider it. I am not chugging a three hundred calorie malt soda. I'll take a milkshake instead.

Drinking alcohol seems to have impared your ability to comprhend a hypothetical situation.

I have always wondered what brewing a low OG 100% lacto beer would taste like

I think it would be pretty cool to be able to drink something that tasted exactly like my favorite beers, but with no alcohol, at work.

Why, what's the big deal? I've thought about keeping some N/A beer at work to have with lunch because I like the taste of beer but can't have alcohol at work. Why is that a problem for you?

Beer had no alcohol at all? Same ingredients and exact same flavors (including the alcohol flavors) would you still drink it? Would you seek it out? Would there be a Beer Advocate website?

This question might be the result of one too many Torpedos, but it is a great question to ponder.

    ChocolateMilk Advocate?

Interesting... have often wondered this myself. I would almost think that I might not drink it very often if it had not alcohol... not sure why, just a hunch.
