Now this is a Summer Ale in which I have no issue with it coming out "early." Light (not just in body, but in abv at 4.2%), crisp and refreshing. And at this abv, it's just interesting enough to get me back to the fridge for another tall boy. Everything I want in a summer seasonal, and one of the few I look forward to along with Summerfest.

Not a bad quaffer for the warmer days. And the price point is nice.

I had a Gansett summer on Easter that was left over from last year. It was still great.

Just picked some up myself yesterday. Should help with the yardwork today.

I at least know MA has it, specifically the Cambridge/Somerville area.

Had a few tallboys with dinner tonight. Hit the spot on a hot afternoon.

I first started seeing this stuff back on April 7th:

    http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/fresh-narragansett-summer-ale.10575/

It's definitely available all over the place. As far as availability goes south of Boston-- I'm down in New Bedford and it's everywhere but that's South Coast not South Shore. Sorry I can't be of better help.

A really great beer and a steal at the price. I mean, $7.99 for a sixer ain't bad to begin with, but when you consider that these are 16 oz cans, you're basically paying a buck for 12 oz's.

Saw it at Yankee Spirits in Attleboro Mass along with a sign that basically said "Yeah, get em' before they're gone."

Nice beer for hot weather. Had a few over the past few days with this unseasonably warm weather.

Does anyone know if they upped production this year. Last year it was gone before actual summer hit

I thought this tasted like it should be used as a cleaning product not a beer the one time I had it.

Really? I felt this tastes like Sam Summers tasted back when they were you know...good.
