Is that baseball? No. No, it is not. The HR Derby is more boring than the NBA dunk contest. And that is some kind of achievement.

    Yeah Juuuuullliiiooooooooooooooo!

Have the baseball players started wearing costumes yet, like the NBA players sometimes do for the dunk contest, though?

@Coronaeus Devil's Trill The unique hop combination makes for a different DIPA. Solid DIPA, it has a heavy malt backbone. The fruity hops coupled with some pine and resin gave it a unique flavor. Overall tasty beer thanks. No picture, I forgot to take one. I already drank it. Cheers.

It’s an interesting series of beers. I get it whenever I see a new one come out. They mix up the hop combinations for each new version and try to come up with a catchy name. My favourite was Devil’s Trill: Crosby Trills Nash and Young.

Aroma is of chocolate covered macaroons

Taste is an almond joy, bourbon, roast malts .Coconut sweetness lingers with a subtle char of the roast malts , leather , tobacco, creamy vanilla

    Sudsy fizzy mouthfeel

Got home from Germany late last night and since I'm all messed up with the time zone shift, I was up at 4am. This incredible box from @WunderLlama was sitting in my fridge (placed there upon arrival when we were gone!). There are so many amazing things about this box. First, I just got back from Germany tasting some amazing pils, hefeweizen, and Berliner Weisse beers. This makes me feel right at home! Second, The Maynards can is perfect. Not only is it your name, but it's also my wife's maiden name. Her family is all from MA, so she was pretty amazed to see this can! She also had no idea that there was actually a town called Maynard!! Anyway, thanks so much for your kindness, Maynard!

Thanks to Mr. Massachussetts for my first beer today. Pilsner from Trillium, generously sent by @WunderLlama because the Warriors won the NBA championship.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a beautiful transparent yellow with white head. Tons of bubbles rising throughout. The nose is welcoming, fresh, and exciting. Honey, wheat, fresh air, grass, oranges, nice fresh bread, and a very slight hoppy note.

The taste is fantastic. A perfect marriage between sweet/malty and hoppy bitterness. Wheat, slight citrus peel, grass, lemon, an herbal note (almost mint), hard fruit candy, bread. The aftertaste is leaning a bit towards bitter.

The mouthfeel is fairly light and crisp, with good carbonation. Overall, a really easy-drinking and great pilsner. Thanks, Maynard!

Broatmeal from Transient, compliments of @Whyteboar! Thanks for sending this one! Great oatmeal stout!

Poured at fridge temp. Pours black with light brown head. Quickly dissipates. The nose is wonderful. Oatmeal, chocolate, vanilla, milk, slight coffee, and a nice roasty backbone. A very slight red wine note comes through after a minute, but the oatmeal and chocolate dominate here.

The taste doesn't necessarily mirror the nose. A bit more roasty and bitter on the taste. The milk chocolate has transformed into a dark bitter chocolate. Nice malts, burnt toffee, coffee, and an earthy note to cap it off.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with good carbonation. Overall, a really enjoyable oatmeal stout.

I'll just keep going here. Another amazing beer sent by @WunderLlama!

Twice The Daily Serving, a Berliner Weisse (tropical punch) from Trillium.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a very murky/hazy orange with zero head. I would have to say it looked slightly odd, until I brought it to my nose.

The nose is pure tropical fruit. Mango, pineapple, papaya, naval oranges, and a bit of pomegranate.

The taste is crazy. Slightly sour upfront, but the tropical fruit floods in after that initial punch. Pineapple, papaya, mango, passion fruit, an earthy taste, a bit of lime, and a nice layer of malts. This is just a big fruit bomb, and I love it.

Mouthfeel is thick and creamy, and the alcohol is not detectable for me. Great beer. Thanks, Maynard!

Another beer from a recent box from @WunderLlama! Haybag Hefeweizen from Philipsburg Brewing in Montana. New brewery and beer to me! Thanks, Maynard!

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a murky orange with minimal white head. The nose is sweet honey, oranges, wheat, and grass.

The taste is really nice. Sweet upfront. A bit of banana, some honey, orange, and wheat. More earthy than the nose. At the same time, more candy sweetness as well. Some lime starts to come in after a bit. A floral note is there as well.

Mouthfeel is fairly light with somewhat lower carbonation than might be expected. Crisp and easy to drink. Overall, a really nice beer.
