...the only other beer of theirs I've had was 'Bananas Foster' from the Extreme Beer Box...rated it a 3.89 or so overall...

White waxed and capped bottle , chilled and poured into a Spiegelau snifter . Dark brown liquid capped by a creamy one finger foam layer, good retention, settles to a thin ring

Aroma is bourbon, brown sugar

Taste is bourbon, dark fruits, raisins, figs, toffee, roast malts, brown sugar , hint of char

Slightly sweet but not too much, slight sudsiness

My wife just walked into my home office with a rather stern look on her face. She didn’t speak, she just pointed down the hallway towards the front door. I tried to speak but she interjected loudly: “GO!.”

A little curious - as well as a little scared - I followed her orders only to find a huge box addressed to me sitting comfortably in the middle of the outer vestibule. I peered back at her with a sheepish grin. She said loudly once again: “Put that downstairs NOW, and then go and get the groceries.” As I once again followed instructions, I could hear her muttering “grumble, grumble, grumble, more beer, grumble, grumble.”

@snaotheus, this behemoth of a box is unexpected and unnecessary, but most welcome. I won’t be able to open until later tonight or tomorrow morning in all likelihood, but will post as soon as I do. Cheers!

Kidding, I have a few more. I didn’t like the’19 as much as the ‘18 when it was fresh but it seemed to have balanced a bit. Maybe I should get them consumed sooner than later, just in case it’s a short window.

It’s nothing serious, just a head cold. He doesn’t like to sleep with a pillow so when he has congestion, it just pools in his nose and throat and he wakes up coughing. We prop his bed up at the head, and he still manages to find a way to get horizontal.

Im sorry to say it is going to be tomorrow AM. I’ve cancelled my 9 o’clock appointment though, so I’ll have pictures by 10 Eastern at the latest.
