Pours nicely and has some lacing. I expected more mosaic on the nose and taste. I get a hint of what mosaic can do but I pick up a lot of malt sweetness. As it warms I can pick up more mosaic but like I said I was expecting more. There's a sticky slick medicinal feel that throws me off on the mouth feel to. Good but not great, I'm sure it's better fresher to.

I'm a bit of a mosaic snob at this point without trying. Have just drank my fare share of mosaic bombs.

Two more this beautiful evening in Northern Indiana from @Roguer and the Tree House Data Set series. I love when breweries do these kinds of “one offs” in the same beer style to see where they can take the beer.

This offering utilizes English Ale Yeast, as did #3. I’m so happy I could cry.

Pours a very hazy pineapple with the most delectable creamy white head you’ve ever seen. Gorgeous hazy. I get lots of mango, guava, and grapefruit rind on the nose, and maybe a smidge of banana? Interesting.

The taste has all parts of the aforementioned mango, guava, and grapefruit - very juicy and tropical - and there is indeed a very cool banana flavor which is PHENOMENAL.

Smooth and creamy mouthfeel per usual with Tree House hazies, this and #4 are my favorites from the Data Set family, with #6 yet to go. I couldn’t choose between the two if you paid me to, because they’re both world class in their own right, IMHO.

 

#2, the last of this series from @Roguer, what a fun trip this has been / and this one features Nordic Yeast.

I didn’t know that was a “thing.” Bring it on, Tree House!

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a creamy white head that provides significant lacing, this is by far the darkest of the Data Set series. The nose has an almost estery note with pineapple and mango notes as well.

The taste is definitely influenced by the estery flavors, which to my palate dulls the mango and pineapple flavors a bit, with nothing really juicy here. Drinks more like a WCIPA (or Brett IPA).

The mouthfeel is medium and not particularly soft. This is BY FAR the most different of the Data Set series, and the most different from the “regular” Tree House lineup. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to try it, but this is the lesser beer of this fantastic series, IMHO.

Can confirm that apple brandy maple syrup is excellent. We finished our bottle from Mr. Lizard a month or so ago.

 

JFC. That's an amazing box. I've had... five? of those beers, all excellent. Had the Rhino Suit on draft just a few days ago. Didn't even know that Chuckanut bottled that barleywine... this all looks so tasty! Impressive porch destruction indeed!

 

The mind just boggles, wow! That’s an amazing assortment @snaotheus - absolutely amazing.
