for me, Gandhi Bot > Flower Power > Sea Hag (NEBCO's IPA). But I love all 3 and they are staples in my fridge when available.

ITHACA. With an A. Not IthIca with an I. This is the second time today it's been spelled wrong. That said, I've never had Ghandi Bot (it's on my wants list) but I'd hold Flower Power up to *any* IPA. It's my favorite beer.

As a west coaster, getting beers from trades, (sometimes questionable freshness, with no dates) I've had them and go with Ithaca Flower Power.

Nope, Ima disagree with you on this one. Flower Power is glorious and all that, it really is, but Gandhi-Bot is a different animal and when it's fresh, it shows. They're just different, in the end: GB is much maltier, and more citrus-pungent with a ridiculously fragrant nose; FP is lighter and crisper, hop aroma and flavor are less citrus-dominated (they're citrusy, but have other elements that are kind of unique to FP, if you ask me), but also not as whiz-bang as GB in those aspects. They're just different animals.

And you can say one's an IPA and the other's a DIPA, but it's 7.5% vs. 8.8%—remember that Heady is "only" 8.0%, so the IPA/DIPA differential in some of these comparisons is practically negligible.

Love FP, love GB, both fantastic but they're different to me and scratch (slightly) different itches.

Gandhi-Bot. But they're different animals, and I'll never turn down a fresh Flower Power.

I had fresh batches of both shipped to me in the same box, and had wanted to try both for a while. Gandhi-Bot was honestly a bit of a let down. Flower Power on the other hand was off the chain/hook.

    For what it's worth.......

I think it is a real shame that someone would ship you Gandhi-Bot that wasn't fresh.
Real pet peeve of mine when people send out such an awesome brew that is not fresh just to get a trade done.

    Fresh G-Bot is a real treat,trust me!

    Cheers
