For those of you who haven't heard; sometime in November this year Abita will be releasing a "Macchiato" Espresso Milk Stout! Next fall they will also be releasing a traditional Oktoberfest Lager. Whether or not that will be replacing their current Fall Fest, I haven't the slightest idea.

Yeah, I just read about this as well. In 2014 they're coming out with Hopgator (a hopped up Andygator), a grapefruit IPA that will replace Lemon Wheat, Imperator (a black IPA), Tripel Haze and more. It's because they're expanding their brewing capacity. Can't wait.

This is what I found from their Abita e-mail. Really interested in trying their new stuff.

2014 Seasonal Line-up: Mardi Gras Bock, Spring I.P.A., Seersucker Summer Pils, Octoberfest & Christmas Ale.
    Harvest Series:
Strawberry Harvest Lager will be available on draft for the first time starting in 2014! Also, Lemon Wheat (previously Seasonal) will be joining the Harvest family.
2014 Harvest Series Line-up: Grapefruit Harvest IPA, Strawberry Harvest Lager, Lemon Harvest Wheat & Pecan Harvest Ale.

Their strawberry and pecan harvest ales are honestly really good and definitely worth giving a try. And their Spring IPA shocked me. I am no means an IPA fan, but the hops are really nicely balanced by this maltybready flavor that reminds me a lot of Challah bread.

The ones that sound the best are Abita Select (draft only?) beers if I read the announcement correctly. Those don't get distributed, at least to CA.

i haven't had that one yet. I was at their brewery about a month ago and tried their Abbey Ale on top and it blew my mind.
