I follow, however clearly communicating business hours is one of the few things a new business can get right. This obviously won't hurt them long term...and that's exactly why they can be so nonchalant about it.

Lots of places have issues with their opening week(s). I recall Liquids and Solids and the Rackhouse being a total mess for about a month each.
I think my problem was the Lowry Beergarten was just how badly they handled everything with so many people showing up. They eventually updated their website, but on Sunday afternoon they simply had everything listed as 11 to midnight.
Based on Rob's experience with the food, something tells me this is probably someone's first gig like this, so I'm going to give 'em the benefit of the doubt and probably try again this weekend.

Finally made it to Lowry while they were open. The wind was pretty unkind, but that's not their fault.
The food came out fast (3-4 minutes) and was good. We did burgers/brats/fries and they were solid, although a hair pricey.
Beers were pretty much all served in pint glasses, so if you don't mind proper glassware, they had things like Avery 19 and Myrcenary on tap in big glasses. Prices were all over the place. Some high gravity items were randomly cheaper than sessionable beers. Not sure why in the world Glider Cider (which retails around $8) was $20 either. Mark ups ARE traditional for biergartens, so I guess they could just say they're "authentic." The Copper Kettle tap had already swapped over to their Export, so it seems like they'll be a normal rotating tap.
I wonder how long it'll take their trees to grow up? The Augustiner Keller didn't get that kind of coverage in a day, but there's definitely something missing without big chestnut shade trees.
Supposedly they're going to be open in the Winter, and they do have heaters, but I'd say I don't have a whole lot of motivation to go there on a cold night unless everything is 1/2 price.
No real complaints other than the unusual pricing. Hopefully my poor experience a few weeks ago was a wash.
