Good morning pastors of pilseners and pale ales! Hope this message finds you enjoying another fine Sunday and if you do happen to be tweeting from church today then I hope you will also be tweeting about craft beer as well.

All other threads aside we have some tasty offerings showing up in Central Ohio. Nice to see 3 Floyd's back, I've seen some Fat Head's, Frangelic Mountain Brown, and Devil Dancer (which I usually have to pick up in Michigan).

Whatever is new to your area or new to you this is the place to talk about it today!

Please try a new beer, review it, and post it hear. Kindly paste your review link, give us a good description, and a pic if you're feeling especially daring.

Thanks for keeping NBS fresh, informative, and fun. I hope you have a great day and your glasses are full of new, world-class beers for you to enjoy.

    Peace, love, and malty-ness,

    Matt

Good day NBS. My new beer is from a relatively new brewery. They have developed a very mixed opinion of their beers. This one turns out to be fairly good. I guess I will give their beer more of a chance. Lucid Summertide:

Grabbed this little gem after driving the family truckster down to Virginia with the little woman and my four kids. Wow, what a great Sunday afternoon beer. I'm painting some interior molding and sipping on this hoppy bad boy with a nice malt backbone. There aren't too many out of market beers that I really wish were sold in Michigan but this is one of them. Cheers!

    New American DIPA Sunday

Upper 80s today, and sunny with a slight haze in Northern Utah. Been waiting to try something from this brewery for a few years, finally I've gotten a chance, not the beer I was originally looking for, but one that is very nice non-the-less. What a surprise it was. Thanks Dick!

    New American Blonde Ale

    Greetings NBS'ers,
Back to a pleasant classic sunny summer day in SCMN. We all beat the heat this week. ' had a surpsingly good cream ale from the new #rd St. Brewery associated with Cold Spring. I didn't realize I could like that style as much as I liked that beer.
Today going with Victory's new summer ale.

A nice summer ale. A little big for a session beer - richer and fuller than most too - but flavorful and enjoyable.
    Best to all.

I have been holding onto this forever (although I traded multiples of this with others ^^). Finally got to crack it open and give it a shot.

It's not the best BA stout in the world, but definitely worth a try. Sweet caramel, chocolate, vanilla, some characterics from the bourbon-aging (not dominent though), orange rind.... alcohol extremely well hidden (at 14% abv).

    Cheers to Sunday!

Greetings fellow NBS'ers! After too long of an absence, I'm able to join in again, thanks to a new work schedule. I've been keeping an eye on y'all though, and some of ya aren't posting in the spirit of NBS. If you don't do reviews, at least take a minute to tell us a little something about that brew. Here in the Fourth Corner, Summer showed up right on schedule, July 5th. I've been out walking in our great weather a lot lately, and after doing 6 round trips up & down the Stairs of Doom (a set of 106 stairs on a local trail), I started off with this much discussed brew: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/63/80911 . It exceeds all its hype, you should do what you have to to get one. Cheers and Happy NBS all!

tried this for the first time today. Have to be honest- rather disappointed- very thin, not much going on. Was expecting more- but still good none the less.

    >>> New American IPA <<<

Rosebud from Beer Valley. A descent and full-malted IPA with a lot of molasses flavors to off-set the bitterness.

Hot here in the Columbia Basin, with temps in the upper 90's. I LOVE IT! Give me all the hot weather you have.

    Happy Trails.

No review, but I had Bruery Filmishmish today. Pretty high on the sour scale, decent fruit flavor from the apricot. This beer has officially made me scared of Mother Funker.

    Happy NBS to all...
Sunny, mid 80's with a lot less humidity here on Long Island today. I vacuumed the pool this morning and then got to enjoy relaxing in and by the pool with my wife. We each had a couple of bottles of Sam Adams Summer Ale and snacked on nachos and chicken wings. I bbq'd a couple of strip steaks for dinner and I decided to open this beer for desert...

    New Belgian Style Golden Sunday!

Made a wonderful beer run and grabbed this as my mandatory "affordable" beer. What a wonderful ale! http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/112/411/?ba=mtlasley

North Coast is never a disappointment and they've not let me down with this. A bit yeast dominated but still, an easily drinkable Belgian that won't destroy the wallet? I'm pleased.
