To my upstate NY BA's, I recommend you take a visit to a new brewery in Finger Lakes wine country overlooking the west side of Seneca Lake, Climbing Bines Craft Ale Co.

This is a great group of guys that have a 1.5 acre hop farm, and just opened the brewery. They grow Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Goldings, Magnum, Nugget, and Willamette hops. The brewery grand opening was August 31st with two Hefe's (each fermented at different temps), a pale ale, an amber, an IPA, and a blonde ale. The owners Chris, Brian and Matt have done an incredible job with the brewery, it's absolutely gorgeous. If you're in the area grab a pint, take the tour, and enjoy the scenery. Cheers!

We stopped by not too long after they opened the tasting room and were very pleasantly surprised by the locally brewed offerings. Need to get them listed on Beer Advocate with their six offerings.
