The press release for the two new ipa's mentioned a new Randall and a new glass. Anyone have any ideas or insight on it? Do you think it is going to be sold online? It would be pretty nice if they brought the stemmed glass back.

This is the IPA-specific glass that they were working on with Sierra Nevada, I would assume.

Very excited about this glass. Maybe its excitement because its the unknown, but it works for me.

It looks stupid. I am generally a function over form person, but this may be an exception for me.

It looks like a lava lamp.

I personally like it. I'm a fan of anything that looks completely unusual and sticks out. They could've just released a tulip or snifter that looks similar to any of the 3 million tulips or snifters that are already out there, that would've been boring.

Not a fan of the look. It kinda has that 1970's amber colored bar glass feel to it.

To me, it looks somewhat phallic. And I'm still going to buy one....I just wish the Randall Jr was back in stock to combine shipping.

Im not sold on the appearance yet but it may grow on me. But more importantly if the science behind the shape will produce a better experience I guess I dont care much about the shape.

I like DFH and I have no other glasses from them so I will likely give this one a go. It looks different, but being different is nothing new to them.

    Ugly? Yes.
    Functional? Maybe.

I'd have to hear some pretty great testimonials to even consider buying one of these.

First reaction: Whoa nelly, no way in hell would I buy that.
Buuut after looking at the other pictures on the website, I think it looks pretty cool. Sounds like Sierra Nevada had some say in the design of this glass...
It took me a few moments to realize the base solid, and doesn't hold liquid. At first I'm saying "How the hell am I going to clean that"...I see now.
I'd like to drink out of one and see if it's the ultimate experience.
