My run in the industry is over, moving to the banking/customer service side. Better hours, shorter commute, more time with the family!

I did not enjoy trying to find Heady. It was like one of those rainstorms in the desert where the water never reaches the ground.

    Wild Friendship Blend
    June 16th

We are humbled to host our friends for the WFB at Novare Res. This amazing blend consists of spontaneous beer from all 3 breweries & specially blended for each location in the world.
All 3 brewers will be present for the event on June 16th & each brewery have sent 12 amazing kegs to compliment this special weekend. Allagash’s blend will only be served in 375ml bottles on site & the first 500 guests get this custom lambic tumbler. We have 800+ bottles for the entire day & expect to have some left going into the weekend. We’ve also been working with our pals at @winterhillfarmer & have collaborated to make a beautiful cheese washed in WFB for the occasion. No tickets, no lines, just 1 bottle per person & a chance to relax with your friends. Santé mes amis !

Of course it's the first day of summer vacation for the kids! I won't be able to make this awesome event. Hope one of you can!

Damn, I can remember when Peche Mortel was a top 100 beer on BA.

Anyone make it to Novare for Peche Mortel (and Orval) Day last weekend?

Doesn't Peche always have coffee? Or was it a specific varietal?

    Always coffee.

Though there was a coffee varietal (Guatemalan Tajumulco) at Novare for Péché Day in addition to the standard.

Just got back from a 4 day motorcycle trip in VT.
Can you say Focal Banger everywhere?
Just awesome to be able to get that beer even at a shitty gas station!

Highlights of stuff that was new to me from VT:
    • Lawson's Brave Little State: Just a fantastic 5% Pale Ale
    • Zero Gravity McLighty's Light Lager: Awesome post ride beer at 3.2%
    • Zero Gravity Lady Bird Dry Hopped Lager: Pretty hoppy and a bit hazy, and delicious
    • Harvest Brewing Stubborn Man NEIPA: Know the owner a bit and this place is getting better each time I go. Very solid hazy IPA

I think you can get the McLighty’s in MA stores in 12 packs (might even be 15 packs, but don’t quote me on that).

Did anyone make it over to Trink Tisch to try the Pretty Things barleywine?

This place reminded me of Branch LIne - the last time I was there years ago!! they had tons of taps with good beers e.g. more than one Trillium on tap at a time etc. I looked at a sample tap list online today and it had maybe 12? draft beers. Have they reduced their on draft quality options?

I think the second half was about Branch Line (whose taplist has been parred down greatly) but it wasn't clear from his post, which is why I didn't include it in my quote.

Yankee Spirits in Norwood was always my go-to. J Shields at Cobbs Corner is good too. If you like old, warm beer then you can try Luke's Liquors

I had never heard of Trink Tisch before this thread. Is it a relatively new entrant to the scene or has it just flown under my radar? Worth making a trip just to check this spot out? TIA.
