it is pretty weird that they pull out of Mass and then go into a different state. probably easier to serve limited markets in NY though. i don't know who their Mass distributor was, but this distributor sounds pretty cool too.

 

How pissed is Fairfield county going to be, getting passed over for NY.

 

Yeah, I thought about that. While I'd love to have it in Fairfield County more, the guys are making world class beers, and that's what matters. I/most of us are lucky enough where we can drive to the brewery/New Haven County if we REALLY need our fix THAT bad.

Would be awesome if they could somehow use the expansion to increase production, but they're pretty much out of space...

 

What are the chances of both IST and GBot still being available for fills on Saturday? I'd make the trip this weekend if that's a go-er.

 

Yes, in Norwalk at Bev Max. Not too many left, though. There are also some in the back cooler with the wrong price on them.

 

You can call Branford Wine and Liquor in the Branhaven Plaza. They had a bunch there when I went few weeks back.

Any GBot to be had in stores or are we waiting for them to brew again?

 

I don't know if there's any still on shelves, but they were canning it today when I stopped by the brewery. Should be in stores next week, although I couldn't tell you which stores those will be.

 

Stout Trooper is probably unlikely, it usually doesn't survive more than a day or two. I think Gandhi Bot I would be a decent bet to still be around by Saturday. Their last batch was a good size and with the recent Prime Tap Takeover along with special releases it seems to me that people wouldn't be clamoring for regular IST and G-Bot as much as normal. Those are just my 2 cents though, definitely call the brewery before you make the trip, though I'm sure they will have some tasty stuff for you one way or another!

Oddly enough, it's Friday and both are still going for growlers as we we speak. Obviously there's a chance they won't make it through the day, but I didn't suspect either would last a week, so I guess there's a chance you can get them tomorrow.

Yeah, heard that same thing when they first announced PM. But I guess it changed since.
