I got there at 6 today and started in line @ the door, it took an hour & a half. They had 6 beers on tap & it took alot longer than I thought it would. Having said that, Coriolis/Gold Stock/Gandhi & the Saison are some good beers! And some Gbot glasses to top it off!

I know it's early to ask, and things can easily change by the time doors open on Friday, but can anyone tell me what the tap list was when they closed Saturday? Gold stock and coriolis still around? New fat-ten-er anytime soon? Hoping these two are still there on Friday!

I was there maybe mid afternoon on Saturday and everything was still pouring. I wouldn't be too surprised to see both last until Friday again, but that's completely speculative, as has been mentioned it was a busy weekend. Fat 10er #6 soon!!

It's a Blonde Ale with a new hop called Hallertau Blanc.

    Hallertau ≠ Hallertau Blanc

The upcoming Fat-Tenner #6 is the latter. Supposedly it tastes more like a southern hemisphere hop than a noble one, with lots of tropical fruit. Time will tell.

Edit: Here's the profile from HopUnion: "Floral and fruity with passion fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, grape and lemongrass overtones"

Does anyone know what the next bottle release is going to be at NEBCO? I know they said they were barrel aging FT #5 for bottles right? No idea on release date on that though. Need some NEBCO funk in my life. Here's hoping Weiss Trash makes a return. Thoughts?

FT #5 was the Old Smoked; the originally intended FT #6 (Cilantro Lime Saison, similar to the EBF beer but not tequila aged) is Barrel aging at the moment. Just clearing up the semantics here, no idea about when that'll be released.

Weiss Trash was mentioned recently as a candidate brew...

Thx for the info. Yup I'm aware FT 5 was the smoked old ale and was indeed referring to that one. I actually chatted with one of the guys there when it was on and they said they're barrel aging it. Just not sure for how long or when the release is or if that endeavor is still in progress. Cheers.

Ah, then it appears there is even more Barrel Aging going on than I am aware of. Craig told me there may even be a barrel aged Coup Beans stashed away somewhere, too...

    Cheers!

Spoke to the guys today. They are indeed barrel aging FT5. They're doing it in two different barrels, and if I understood them correctly, one of which is a rye barrel which was used to barrel age Two Road's Igor's and the other being a rum barrel.

Lines today weren't too bad at all. They were flying through Coriolis like whoa.

Yeah, I thought you were referring to the Saison just because you had used the word funk. That coupled with lack of knowledge of BAFT5 (see what I did there?) and I messed up that other post. My bad, thought I was helping.

I really enjoyed the flavors in Ghandi but I found it a little under carbonated for me. Had it in cans and at the brewery albeit the old location. Are most of their beers lightly carbonated as well? I am looking forward to trying out a lot of their offerings.

This batch of Coriolis is the best beer I have ever had from the New England Brewing Company.
