Looks like Kid Kolsch is back for the summer. I enjoyed the heck out of that one.

I’ll start the “...but where is Hometown Blonde please” angle with a crazy idea. What if they swapped Hometown Blonde into year round, maybe in the Two Women or Moon Man slot? They are both good, of course, but there are many options in those categories on the shelf. A lot of upset folks, I suppose... but it could work. There are few amazing pilsners to choose from, while the acceptance of quality pilsners is (seems?) on the rise. NG could quickly lead the pack.

I'd say in TW's place in that case; Moon Man is too good, and IPAs are too popular for it to be dropped. There's a reason Scream is a year-round Thumbprint.

The only thing that matters is that Cranbic will be back in June!

pretty exciting about kid Kolsch returning! I will buy a case of that beer for sure. Hometown blonde sounds awesome, but what I am craving is some Zwickel

I like Two Women, but Hometown Blonde being year round make so much sense. New Glarus lagers are mostly all world class. But Hometown Blonde is just on another level.

Kid Kolsch disappeared from NG beer schedule. Anybody know what happened?

If I had to guess, I'd say they are just pushing it back on the calendar. It will come out this year (it was introduced as a seasonal last July and still shows as a seasonal on the site) but maybe not until June/July timeframe.

I think it'll hit shelves once Totally Naked runs low.

I guess I need to revisit Totally Naked seeing as it’s on the schedule for many months every year. It didn’t really do it for me last time I had it. Can’t remember why.

The Alt is absolutely my most requested beer from New Glarus. I was blown away by it, oh so many years ago, and never getting it since is a big part of my love/hate relationship with New Glarus.

Totally agree. Loved that beer and also vote for it every time, knowing that it's likely to never be brewed again.

I don’t see Cran-bic on their beer schedule anymore. :grimacing: Does anyone know if this got pushed?

I've been seeing folks posting pics of Kid Kolsch on twitter and otherwise, has anyone outside of Madison seen it on shelves yet? The times for aisle wandering are limited these days. Cheers all.

No. I was at Kenosha woodmans Sunday afternoon and didn’t see it yet. Grabbed raspberry tart, 12er of Two Women, and some kid kolsch bottles. So I guess I can’t complain

I was also at Kenosha Woodman's yesterday afternoon and did not see it. I grabbed Berliner Apfel which is fucking fantastic, Nectar Ale which I haven't had yet, and a 12er of Moon Man for the 4th.

You might want to go back for more nectar before my wife buys the rest this weekend. There’s no limit but I think she wants me to “mule” for prop day payback.

General question - what do the fruit 4pks sell for these days? I haven't been up to WI in years, since back when they were in 750mls. Thanks!

You see see Madison’s Total Wine prices inched Untappd. So, Nectar Ale is $11 for a 4pack.

Best place to buy NG near where Iowa/IL/WI meet? I'm not good with geography. Just drive the extra bit to NG directly? Doesn't seem to far from Toppling Goliath

The brewery itself is closed to visitors for the summer. So I guess it depends if you're looking for anything in particular. I would think that there's a couple of places in/around Kieler and Dickeyville that will have a good selection.
