I live in Spooner and haven't seen it around here for a few months. Plenty of left over NG Berliner though.

Every Thumbprint released this year has been on a two month cycle, and that isn't likely to change. Imperial Weizen will close out October and Apple Ale will likely be on shelves by early November.

Ahh... just curious because people earlier in the thread commented two weeks ago that Apple Ale will be coming out in two weeks

FYI: There was a decent amount of wild sour ale and Berliner Weiss at the Coffee Grounds in Eau Claire yesterday.

Is NG doing this or the distributor I'm confused.

NG, I would assume... unless the distro last year just didn't get rid of enough. I would think that NG would have to ok it, either way. How is this beer, anyhow?

Can't really say terrible, but it's not really that good either....

I never liked scotch ales to begin with so I can't really say but for sure my least favorite NG beer I've had.

Also I know places where its still stiing on the shelf so no special release is required in my opinion.

I really dig their barleywine (especially with 1-2 years on it). Here's hoping that's coming around soon.

The barley wine was great I didn't have the self control to age that one unfortunately.

I've got one left from last year. I keep hoping that a 4-pack will show up in an unlikely place. I usually check small liquor stores in small towns, gas stations, and small town grocers.

It's weird, nothing like a scotch ale IMO. I had it in September and still didn't care for it. Aging didn't do anything for it.

Bummer. Seems to be NG's weakest point- strong red/brown ales. Other than the Barleywine, I'm waiting for Dan to really knock a big beer out of the park.

That rumor is almost true. It's no Apple Ale for anyone coming from IL to buy it.

They picked all of the Winter Warmer back up from Beechwood, and NG held onto it.... I guess it was something small, around 100 cases. Still sucks though.

Anyone hear anything about when apple ale is going to be on shelves? Facebook page said it's gonna be ready to ship as of yesterday - just not sure what that translates to in terms of distribution time. End of this week hopefully?

I was at the brewery this past weekend (11/15 & 11/16) and they had Winter Warmer piled high in bottle shop. It was the only Thumb Print available and they still had the 20th Anny. Fat Squirrel was also at the brewery, or at least around town in New Glarus, I can't remember exactly where I drank that one.

Wish I could find some wild sour sitting around somewhere. I found some Berliner yesterday which was awesome, love that stuff.

I was at the Coffee Grounds in Eau Claire last weekend and they still had some of the Wild Sour on the shelves. I should have bought it but I couldn't pass up the Jolly Pumpkins they had in the Cooler. My allegiance to Michigan beer is too strong.

Since NG normally adds to the beer calendar on a bi-monthly basis, i have my hopes that there is another surprise to come. They have not posted december.

Anybody know of places in Monroe that might still have Imperial Weizen or Wild Sour (or Berliner)?

I'm heading through Monroe on a trip to the brewery and hoping to finding something left on the shelves.
