Anyone seen cans of AtG's Overcompensation IIPA? Haven't seen it around Louisville and want to give it a try.

Now that the Chicago area Binny's Bourbon County release has been announced, any word on what is going on in Kentucky for Black Friday?

Liquor Barns will be the place to go, they seem to get the biggest allotment in the area.

HopCat in Louisville will have Founders' CBS on tap on December 1st at 11am.

I've never had the beer and will probably swing up there for a glass, as I'm unsure how availability will be once bottles are released.

While BCBS (and variants) and CBS are hot commodities (though personally I was never a HUGE fan of CBS), Tribulation at Great Flood is a FANTASTIC BBA Coffee Impy Stout that you can go get pours of for cheap compared to these others, no waiting in line necessary.

Keep posting about CBS and BCBS when you guys hear things. I have 300 bucks that I am "allowed" to spend on beer for the month of December/late Novemberr (thank the girlfriend). So this is going to be a fucking amazing month! Can't wait to grab some stuff for my big bottle share at the end of December.

Looks like Black Note has finally hit the commonwealth... Carry on with the CBS slurping!

Has anyone seen Black Note outside of the Trappe? Would prefer not to go there with my money.

Tribulation is fantastic, I agree. I'm heading to Hopcat for CBS primarily just to say I've had it, as it was the first whale I really started wanting when I first got into craft beer.

I have had a chance to grab every whale on my list.... but that one. Some would say cbs is my white whale! Harpoon that bitch! Haha yeah, I want bottles but I will be enjoying a glass at hopcat that date!

Ok guys, so this might be a stretch but my buddy is graduating with his masters degree in December. He wants a special beer for the party. Granted he wants a keg so that is where we are meeting some opposition. He has the ability to get Bomb, but I was hoping we could get something a little more special then that beer. Anyone know if Prairie sells kegs of Deconstructed Vanilla or and I know this will be a huge stretch, but their barrel aged stuff? Just curious since I am trying to help him out.

Just a thought but your best bet may be doing some bearded iris IPA or something along those lines. I can't think of any party where I'd want to try to kill a keg (or multiple glasses) of a single BA stout. It may be easier, and more pleasing, to get multiple large format bottles to share.

I'm sure they sell kegs; but you'd have to buy from a distributor in most states, and I don't see them selling a rare keg to a guy off the street unless you have a connection or you have Prairie specially designate a keg for you.

Yeah I thought so :/. I had to ask though. He says he has someone willing to sell him bomb which is great, but I wanted to get something a little different

Coffee Vanilla Baba Yaga on tap Nov. 25 for the 3rd Anniversary party. I'll be driving straight there from St. Louis on that day.

You nuts to be going from St. Louis all the way back to Lex. Granted Side Project rocks but that is a hell of a drive. Who am I kidding though, I have driven for beer many times before though haha. They bottling any Baba Yaga though? Still have my two bottles from the release and waiting to crack them open for a special occasion. I am going to be so shit faced on black friday
