    Haven't made it down to Wellington yet. Yesterday drank well at The Lumsden, a pub at 448 Khyber Pass Rd., Newmarket, Auckland.

    So far, the tourist things we're interested in are showing as open the days we want to do them. We should be good (fingers crossed). We may feel a bit lost on Christmas Day, but we wanted to go to the beach that day, anyway. I mean, how often can you go to the beach on Christmas Day?

    New Plymouth is a possibility, but we'll have to plan a stop on the way by and not a full stay.
