I agree 100% and that's why I really worked on my recipe over the last year and have it nailed at this point. 5 gallon kegs are kicked every time I have people over...not even kidding. I've brewed this 4 times since February and can't keep it on tap longer than a week at a time. 10# Golden Promise (or Maris Otter) 2# Flaked Oats 1# Crystal 20 .75 oz Columbus 60 min mash at 154 for an hour DIPA-OYL52 from Wyeast Add dry hop at day 3.5 2oz Apolla 2oz Centennial 4oz Citra Ferment at 65 for 7 days and ramp up to 68 by day 10. Cold crash on day 11 to 38* and rack to keg on day 13. Force carb as you usually would.

Hint #1 Shipping east. Hint #2 According to google a generic flight from Cali to Texas is some 1,400. If I wanted to fly from Cali to my target's state I would be flying many more miles than 1,400.
