With DLD just over and the summer coming (which I know normally doesn't see as many "big" beer releases), what is the next big beer launch event coming up? I'm talking ones akin to Kate the Great Day, DLD, and the tappings of PtY? Also, who will be going?
I think Alpine Exponential Hoppiness surpasses PtY and that should be approaching as it's 2x per year if I recall.
I don't disagree that it may be better. But I'm wondering about once-a-year (at most) releases that often call for a special release day where the release of it is also the same day that bottles sell out. I really don't know, but am curious to find out.
Expo bottles sell out same day on a "special release day". 2x a year though doesn't meet your criteria.
That's about as close to what I'm looking for as I could ask. Doesn't 100% answer my question, but more or less points me in the direction that I wanted. Looks like for me, the next release of the year to hope to get is Lost Abbey's Cable Car.
SD it is! I try to go a couple times a year and try even harder to time it with picking up special releases. Last year was Stone's BA Macadamia Nut Porter
