How does one come by a BCS barrel head?

 

Vinnie is a magician i think. he somehow always comes up with the craziest beer related shit.

Also, they have a full horizontal of Pappy from Rip to 23. you know, just in case.

 

Ive wanted one ever since I saw it at bav lodge.

I keep meaning to stop by on weds and it looks like I have this weds off. God knows I love my pappy. Maybe we should have a Bourbon bottle share one night too haha.

I've got a few Jester King wild ales, Filmishmish from The Bruery, Almanac Reserve #3, the new Half Acre/New Belgium Soft Sour, 25th Anniversary Flanders from Goose, Quetsche Tilquin, Fantome Saison, and Stillwater Saison aged in Chardonnary Barrels. Don't know what I'm bringing but I'll bring a few. If anybody wants anything specific, just ask and I'll bring it.

I'm originally from Geneva, and a friend of mine used to be the sous chef at Niche. I'll be back there Wednesday to disc golf with my brother. Maybe I'll throw a couple things in the bag and stop by before I head back to the Chi.

 

My vote is Fantome or Almanac. I'm probably 50/50 I'll be there.

 

Looks like the Fantome Saison, Goose 25th Flanders, and Almanac Farmer's Reserve #3 will be making their way to Niche tonight for drinking purposes. The voting is now closed, and the fridge is now full. Hope to see some of you out there tonight.

 

I just saw that Niche has an event tonight. The St. Charles singers and a 3-course dinner. Should we plan on getting there later tonight?

The event starts at 6:00 and the singers start at 6:30. The place is going to be pretty packed id imagine.

Should we say 8:00 start tonight? That should give them enough time. I have a tweet out to @nichegeneva asking their thoughts.

Yup and I loved them, I've had most of the new glarus fruit beers other than Belgian red and the new strawberry rhubarb.

 

Can't go wrong with either they sound awesome

 

Would love to try the SitR w/ Kumquats. Had the peach version at DLD and loved it. Got a '12 SitR that I'm bringing, Boxer's Revenge, and DeConstruction. Should be fun.

Any ideas on a theme for next week? I've brought back some Surly Bender's from my weekend in MN as well as a bottle of Pentagram that I'll have to share for our next "sour power" night.

It's official, on Wednesday August 28th at about 7pm, Niche Bottle Share will be doing "Battle of the Belgians." Some of the beers that will be appearing are Westvleteren 8, Westvleteren 12. Struise Pannepot, Struise Reserva Pannepot, Struise Grand Reserva Pannepot, New Glarus ABT, Dieu Du Ciel Rigor Mortis ABT, Cantillon Classic Gueze, Night Shift Tripel Reserve, St. Arnold Divine Reserve 13, and Surly Seviin"

If you want to taste the best that Belgian has to offer, come by to Niche in Geneva next Wednesday and bring along the best Belgian inspired beer you can find.

 

Ahhhh Why this Wednesday?? Lets hold off for a week...I think Sept 4th is a much more Belgian-y day.

 

Hmmm 8/28 is my birthday too....

 

If you can't make this one, There is a bottle share every Wednesday. (With the exception of special dinner events, the next is an Allagash dinner on 9/11).
