Savor in Columbus mentioned it on their facebook. They had growler fills but heard no bottles.

Friend of mine just talked his beer guy in Cleveland and heard the same thing. Looks like tap only for Ohio.

I work across the border in PA, and it is everywhere there. Every Giant Eagle, Whole Foods, etc. has piles of it. weird that It wouldn't come to OH

Agree that it's weird. I still have like 2 cases at my store in Michigan so I figure it's pretty plentiful this year. Maybe call Dark Horse?

Beer distribution is puzzling at times. WI did not get very much and it was all gone within a couple of weeks.

Yeah maybe the head brewer at Dark Horse is an University of Michigan alum.

just because someone buys their medical marijuana in Ann Arbor doesn't make them an alum

This is disappointing news. Will fuck up my 5 year vertical I had planned. Unless I decide to trade for some, but I'm really not too into that.

No DCT or Pt5??? I don't know if I feel like supporting Dark Horse anymore... damn

Hmm... I just drove like 8 hours worth for KBS. I guess I'll be driving another 3 for this. I'll have to call some places now, thanks for the thread.

Not sure about the veracity of this statement, but the guy at Corner Stone Carryout told me Ohio wouldn't be getting Pt5 because the label says 13.2%. Can anyone confirm that would stop distribution to OH?

I was wondering if you could help me out. I've called about 6 places now near the OH/PA border, from Giant Eagle to M&M and all of these places have no idea what dark horse is! Hahaha. Where are you finding this at?

I work north of Pittsburgh (cranberry twp). It was at the giant eagle there, the one in Wexford, and at the whole foods in Wexford.

Not sure if this would be up your alley, but the aforementioned Corner Stone from my previous post said they were tapping a keg of Pt5 this past Friday (the 5th) and they do growler fills. Not sure if that would help or not, as it's in Columbus, but wanted to let you know.

I can second that from a four pack I found in Ann Arbor. DCT is labeled 12% fwiw. When I talked to my local shop they seemed pretty upset at this news. They indicated that their distributor told them it was too high abv for Ohio. I'm really not sure what's going on here. Between DH and their distributors.

I heard they are makeing sure the labels read 12% before they ship. ( what mayor beer store rep told me)

Thanks for the information. I did try both places and both had none right now but Whole Foods is getting more in. Now, I just have to try a little harder to find something less than 2 hours away or I'll be driving to Wexford.

I'll try tomorrow. It's probably too late now and I live 2 hours away from Columbus, but my growler hasn't been filled in awhile it feels like.
