On 3/14, @redmagik99 and I will be invading the Ducks turf to root on our NY Rangers. Will be at Noble beforehand drinking as many IPAs as possible. Let us know if any BA'ers will be there.

A sub-500 road team coming into Anaheim's barn? Good luck with that...

...your best bet would be to just stay at Noble and then Uber it back to wherever you are staying.

You should go to hollinghead before the game and dress in full Ranger gear. They'll love you over there!

I've had a few bottles of various IPAs that have all been good. Visited the brewery an hour ago, first time having Naughty Sauce, holy friggin wow. Brilliant and then Citra showers, oh my!! Big fan now.

Yeah Naughty Sauce is a secret gem for locals. I have had it offsite twice and the other establishments have failed to pour it correctly (once on CO2, not nitro... for shame) but Citra showers stands up against any of the best citra forward IPAs out there. You made a good choice to visit right after their anniversary party.

I'm headed there next Wed for a Ducks game, hoping Citra Showers bottles are available. Based on other citra beers hitting the market, seems like about the right time for their next release (and they already have kegs)

I will second the Citra bottle release. I have seen Noble release bottles after tapping it at the brewery. And we haven't seen showers since December. About the same time we actually seen El Nino.
I was there yesterday at opening just to fill mini growler and head back with some Citra(love) Showers. Instead of opening it yesterday I had one of 2 last bottles of TT. Another classic Evan brew. I would love to take a bottle of Citra Showers along with my last TT bottle and a few other gems to Berlin with me.
I didn't care for the revamped Nobility. Didn't do anything for me. Now Bean Bump.....thats the one!

    Oh OK!

The IPAs I haven't had before... Nose Candy is great for a session IPA, Nobility was real good, and That's Unpossible was absolutely stellar.

Pretty sure there were more Rangers than Ducks fans at the game even at puck drop.

Was probably about 60/40 in favor of Ducks, but agreed, Rangers fans (myself included) made up a pretty sizable contingent. Always feel better about being a road fan at any venue with those sorts of numbers.

Back to beer: Had That's Unpossible last night and thought it was top-notch. Hope to see it up in South Bay soon.

Solid beers all around for pre Rangers-Ducks. Tongue Tickles was my fave of the day. Citra showers was good but had that weird metallic off-flavor that some beers get when overloaded on citra.

Ducks fans were about as passive and uninspired as I thought they would be. LGR!

Didn't work out so well for them Rangers tonight, eh? Felt like 2014 all over again. GKG!

I'm sure you remember it well, since that seems to be the year 90% of Kings fans starting watching hockey...

You mean 2012, that's when The Kings were founded as a team in SoCal.

Riiighhhhht......I actually don't disagree with that sentiment overall, but after supporting the Kings for the past 30 years through some of the worst years, I feel pretty confident talking shit these days. No matter what, Ducks fans are the worst.

It's been very quite at Noble with Shower bottle releases. Don't think I seen a shower bottle release in 2016 yet? Only TT.

Mosaic and Citra were both released in bottles in December. Its only been two a little over two months, not unusual for Noble's release schedule,

    Cheers…………..

Hoping to hit Noble later this week while visiting the area, do they have requirements on the type of Growlers they fill? I know some places don't fill stainless or require certain diameter threaded openings for their counter pressure systems. Just want to be prepared.

Black electrical tape would be your best bet. It won't be as hard to remove from your growler in the future and gets the job done.

Ok, gotcha. Painter's tape indeed, don't want to ruin my RB Ambassador growler on first use!
