You both are obviously lying. No falling for it, lining up at 9:00 am tomorrow.

Having a great time out here at JK, my son is playing with a bunch of kids out in the sand looking for lizards and I'm sipping a beautiful Nocturn Chrysalis in front of a delicious beer haul to take home. Pizza smells great but I think I'd rather drink my calories.

There's a line for beer by the glass but bottle lines are mostly nonexistent or much shorter all day.

Coming down from Dallas for a wedding at Pecan Ranch tomorrow, which is just a few miles away. Me and the family are going to eat/drink Sunday before heading home, but I really want bottles of Coquiter and Detritivore. Does anyone know how many bottles of each/either are left? I will swing by before the wedding if I have to, but would rather wait until Sunday at opening to go.

All this conversation about line theory is just wonderful, but would it be too much to ask if anyone on this thread has had batch 1 and might actually indulge us with their impression of this round and how it compares?

Parking was worse than anything yesterday. Got there around 7:30, they didn't have cones up stopping people from going up to the field, but a lot of kids were playing up there so I think it discouraged people from parking there which is no big deal, got to drive through the one mud patch and parked there. Like several said, no real bottle line, 3 people in front of us when we got there, never really had more than that the entire time we were there. Pour line was about 30 deep though. Good times, relaxed, chill.

I don't remember batch 1 (and it's a different base beer), but I preferred this batch (#3) to batch 2 when fresh. It was a nice balance between sourness and blackberry jam.

Nice time at the brewery last night. No real line for bottles to go, and the taproom line was a nice steady pace.

My first time with Nocturn. Had it twice by the glass and thought it was a great sour. The blackberries shined through, and it had a nice barrel presence on the backend. Picked up a bit of raspberry vinegar on the first pour but the second was more subdued. Excited to see how these take on age, as I felt it may be a bit "young" at the moment, aside from being a mature sour, more from the blackberry fermentation.

Overall highly impressed and I love every time I'm out at the brewery. Truly a great place.

Up and back from Galveston county today... and let me just say that Foudreweizen is just fucking spectacular. God I would love to drink that every day.

    Nocturn is good too

Interested in that too. To Go lines seemed small all weekend. Started approx 6k right? Maybe 1/4 left as a guess?

Is this where we start asking when blend 4 will be released and what the bottle count and lines will be like?
    How about a reserve society?

In theory, 1k people bought their full allotments. If the same thing happens this weekend, then it should last to weekend 3.

    In theory.

I dropped over $300 + tip for the variety. JK trips are expensive. I regret they were out of the bottles of Funk Metal. I wanted a couple of those.
