Not quite what you are after, but odd side ales makes a coffee blonde that is pretty good. It's called Beanflicker, lots of coffee and vanilla, one of my wifes favorites, and an easy to drink beer that I also enjoy. You would have to trade for it though.

Oy vey! Can't you guys have one conversation about beer that doesn't break down into a stout/porter debate  For the sake of this conversation I am not looking for either stouts or porters. Overall I am looking for something that is available in New York and has a lighter mouthfeel/abv as my lady does not like the 'creamy' mouthfeel of something like Founders Breakfast Stout. I've seen baba on shelves so I am thinking about trying that for sure.

As far as beers that I have sampled, the best coffee infused beer that is NOT a stout or porter is Dark Horse Perkulator Doppelbock. The coffee flavor is well represented in this brew.

Half Acre's Shrub Tundra is pretty on-point for this style.

It's sadly not available anywhere but at the brewery and in growler/howler pours, but it's pretty solid if you can get your paws on it.

It's excellent and easily available in Washington and Oregon. I'm sure you could trade for cans.

    Where in NY are you?
The Whale by Community Beer Works (from buffalo) is a brown ale with a pronounced coffee taste to it. Only available on draft but damn tasty.
