I can't remember the exact name (slobbering caribou?). Has anyone tried this kit? Thoughts?

That was one of the reasons I was asking. I had listened to the CYBI first episode where Jamil chatted with BSB brewmaster and he said WLP002.

It was the first brown I made and although I still haven't had Moose Drool so I could be off base, I didn't like it. It came out fairly sweet without that nutty character I like in Browns. Keep in mind this was extract.

I made the AG version with Wy1945 a couple of years ago. It was tasty for a brown ale. I recall it being sweeter than I typically like and a pronounced caramel flavor. I haven't had the original either so I can't compare it.

I did the moose drool clone from jamil's Can You Brew It podcast, and it turned out fantastic.
