Now that Stone Vertical Epic series is finished, what should replace it?

With the completion of the Vertical Epic series, there now seems to be a hole in Stone's lineup. I have an idea about what they could do with that space.

How about fan favorites? There are a couple of beers from years past that I would love to see resurrected. 10th Anniversary and 8th Anniversary are stand outs for me. Votes could be tallied via online votes, similar to the voting for Enjoy By.

But I'm sure there are some other thoughts on how the hole left by the extinction of the VE series might best be filled.

I don't want to bias the conversation against other opinions about how Stone might replace the VE series, but I have to agree. Ruination 10 is just too delicious to relinquish to the archives. I imagine a spirited debate and enthusiastic voting where Ruination 10 would be among the finalists.

I must lend my voice to those clamoring for more Ruination 10th Anniv. I'd love to have the opportunity to drink it again.

Speaking of Stone's Vertical Epic series, I was at the bottle shop this morning and they were selling bottles 3, 4, and 5 (for around $40 a pop). Has anyone else seen this? Just curious.

I haven't seen it around here in So Cal. I really love the 05/05/05, but the most I'd pay would be around $20.

    Stone Vertical Integration, duh.

But seriously, Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout. In four packs priced to compete with brews like FBS.

Actually, I've seen it in two stores - one was selling the last 6 in a big shrink-wrapped 6-pack for $65 (LINK). If this was common, it begs the question of are these leftovers or were some bottles held back when they were initially released? I find the marketing of craft beer fascinating.

They need to bring 12th Anniversary back year round.

Brew Dayman year round. Don't care if irrelevant.

I've always wanted to try Stone 6th Anniversary. I heard that it was stellar in its prime.

Dayman year round is necessary. That is one delicious creation. Its a shame there's only 5 left in the fridge

It seems like they've replaced it with Enjoy By. Different styles and idea, I know, but Enjoy By is similar in that its consumption is contingent on dating.

I would bathe in it. I loved that beer, and was deeply saddened when it went away.

I'm waiting for Stone 15th Anniversary Imperial Russian Stout in 2015 as well as Mr. Fusion to power the flux capacitor.

In all seriousness, I have to concur with 10th Anniversary Ruination. I wouldn't mind seeing that made into a seasonal release.

One vote for the 10th anniversary Ruination please. Just an absolutely fabulous beer.
