Nugget Nectar?

Is this a jab at Julio's or fact?

 

Got mine at CBC Belmont. The ladies there are super rad and if I lived in that area I'd support them big time.

 

Fact, Wegmans generally comes in $1-$2 cheaper then Julio's. Here is a picture I took last year:

 

Holy crap! I didn't realize the stuff would go so quick. Damn...maybe I should have bought that case, ha ha.

 

Any idea when this will hit the South Shore?

 

I am curious to hear what people think of this year's batch

I hate to be one of those people that say this is not as good as it was last year but.......yeah.

 

but everything I heard said last year was a bad batch. I wouldnt have know I drank through 2-3 cases of it. I talked to my beer guy. I will be lucky if I get a full 6 pack since I moved to boston...

 

I much prefer this year's batch to last year. It's much dryer and less malty and than 2012. Reminds me very much of 2011. The hop character is right on.

 

Ok, well there is a difference for sure, so I'm not crazy.

 

I didn't read much of the posts but Lagunitas Imperial Red is a great alternative (when brewed).

 

The bottle date is on there. Picked up 2 six packs at Julios and had a hard time with the bottle date as well. Finally found it at the bottome of the bottle neck right above the label. Its alsmost the same color of the bottle but it is on there. The date I had on each bottle was 1/29/2013.

Is this release one big one and done, or does this refresh over the next few weeks like Sucks has been?

 

I'm told it's going to be one big drop and done, and then it will come in bombers a bit later.

 

Who told you that, it was at least 2 waves last year if memory serves me right

It tasted fantastic last night. The lady surprised me when I went into the fridge for Milk and found Nectar!

 

CBC sold all 50 of their cases in less than 6 hours yesterday...liiiiittle bit ridiculous.
