It's laundry day at Stately beertunes Manor, and as I have pizza and a couple pints at WF while the clothes run, ex-NWforum regular Mabermud comes by. He thinks he'll be able to make it. Says he's got a couple things left in the cellar.......

Unfortunately my 3 month long coding project is releasing the same day as this; I'll be in the office with a bunch of executives waiting to murder me if something goes wrong.

I'm brand new to the area, and although I am lacking my cellar for this upcoming event (I am in temp housing in downtown Seattle) I will be watching this forum for future events.

Just grab a growler or two from one of the smaller breweries, that don't send beer up here. Come up and join in!

    Sadly, it's so...

However, to ensure that my presence is nonetheless felt, I'll be sending up plenty of coffee and pumpkin beers for everyone (and I mean everyone) to enjoy. As well as a gregarious proxy hugger, slathered in mayonnaise.

But, seriously, I hope you all have a great time at this bacchanalia. For those who don't return, it's been a privilege to know you. I promise to recite your eulogies here.

I have made my entry slightly less indecisive. Mrs. Vurt is bringing the Icelandic beers, so I'll update those when she gets 'em out of the cellar. Expect a variety of styles.

Mrs. Vashon has volunteered to be designated driver, so I'm in. She's planning Bellingham holiday shopping in the afternoon.

We could take a rider or two. Leaving Seattle in the morning (well, Vashon actually, but Seattle is on the way). Returning Saturday evening.

If you want a ride, PM, or just say so on this Forum.

This time of year there's not much in the way of produce, but plenty of bread, cheese, arts, crafts, food vendors, etc. It opens at 10am, and is directly across the street from the venue.

As flattered as I am by the attention, a more inconvenient weekend for my attendance could not have been created under ideal conditions in a laboratory. Would that it were otherwise, and this despite the fact that large gatherings with strangers aren’t exactly my cup of tea.

Fortunately, hugs need have no expiration dates, and, sometimes, the longer they are delayed the more meaningful they become when finally realized. I happen to know this from personal experience.

Hope you all have a grand time. And that you all live to tell about it. In that order.

Oh, and kick this thing off right by cracking that Spring Elixir first, while palates and memories are still fresh. If @Texwild is there, make sure he’s given the largest pour. He deserves it. And don’t you dare forget Jared’s Razzhole Sour homebrew. Failure to drink that one and properly check it in will result in repeated hugs for all NW Forum members in attendance. That is not a threat, but a promise.

Heading down in about half an hour, might need a slight detour to grab some Superflux. Or does anyone even like hazy IPAs still?

On top of that 6-7 smaller format goodies I’m pretty sure y’all have never heard of.
