I have the O2 aeration system from Williams Brewing. Last night after using it i noticed a black mark on the inside of the filter that connects the hose from the O2 bottle to the aeration tube. It kinda looks like mold, anyone else see this before? I tried to take it off to clean it out (if possible) but it doesn't appear it's meant to be taken off. Any feedback/theory's are appreciated.
I use that system, actually love it and so do my yeasties. Never saw that on mine, so no opinion what it is, but if I saw it I would replace hose since it is so narrow to clean anyway. Easier to replace than a batch of beer, no?
