I know Stone dates thier hoppy beers 90 days out , what does anybody know if this beer is also 90 days? Normally I would just pull the trigger but it's 18.99 a 4 pack in my area.

This stuff is delicious no matter when you drink it. Although 19$ seems a little steep, around here it's about 17$ a 4-pack (4.25$ for singles).

EDIT: I know that didn't really answer your question, but if you don't mind spending the money, I'd say get it. It's gonna be good.

I've gotten it at Kroger in SE Michigan for $12.99 a 4-pack, which is about the price I've seen around for a 4-pack. I've seen it for the $17 you mentioned as well but I want to say it was in a six pack?? Correct me if I'm wrong about that as it was the first time I saw it, but when I bought it it was a $12.99 4 pack.

    Here (Georgia), the 6-packs were around $17.99, the 4-packs around $11.99. $17-$19 a 4-pack is pretty high!

Singles here in FL are just under $4. I had one about 10 months old and it was absolutely GLORIOUS. My favorite Bastard beer from Stone.

That's weird, since they stopped selling 6 packs of it months ago.

    Check the dates...

I'd shop a different store....sounds like price gouging...Stone put in a four pack for a better price point which would help rotation...either the store or distributor is taking advantage of the consumer!!

Honestly I have not bought any in some time so I was not aware of the move to 4 packs. Thanks.

My store sells them for $9.99 a 4pk. It meets margin.

Yeah, it sounds like some stores haven't adjusted their prices for the 4 packs. Here in the northern suburbs of NYC [the high point for beer prices], many stores still have 6 packs listed for $17.99 - $21.99 and a few have the 4 packs for $11.99 - $13.99.

It's a different UPC, so 6/4 scanning the same as 4/6 should not be the issue. Stupidness is.

I sell them at $10.99 at my store, and as previously said, $9.99 meets the margin as well. Stone's wholesale cost is hella cheap
