So this past Oct, we had about 20 beer drinkers (not all BA's) show up to Lums Pond in Bear, Delaware to do a nice outside tasting. Weather was fairly cooperative, although windy. I'm kind of horrible at taking pictures, so this is the only one I snagged of the line up.

That said, I wanted to find somewhere that would allow us to do a BYOB event in Delaware, and I think I've got the place. St. John - Holy Angels on Possum Park Road in Newark has a small athletic building they rent out. Holds about 75 people, and we can bring in our own food and best of all BEER! There are some tables and chairs there for our use as well as a TV and some other AV equipment.

Best of all, it's CHEAP! My family recently held a party there and the rental came to around $200. If we can get the same 20 people there, it would only run about $10 each for the rental, and then we could all pitch with food like before.

So this is just kind of a way to gauge interest. I lost my "friends list" with the switch over, so I'm posting this public as well. If you're interested, feel free to post and we can work on details. I'm thinking sometime in early April.

So far it looks like the second or third sat in April. I'm going to talk to the event planner this week and see what's available.

I'm interested, I think either Saturday should be okay. I'll just have to convince someone to drive me ass down and back!
