OddSides Imperial BA Mayan Mocha Stout

I have to say, I wasn't big on the regular version, but the BA version was fantastic. Would've preffered a little more kick from the habanero but I can totally understand that they wouldn't want to risk going out of balance with that in particular.

 

Is this still available anywhere? I'm guessing no but wanted to ask since I'm in Detroit area for a couple days.

 

They still have it on tap at the brewery

 

This may not be the thread for this...but is Oddside still releasing Hipster Brunch or Morningwood on Black Friday?

Brass mug In Livonia still has some bourbon mayan mocha, was in there around noonish today, still had 10 or so bottles left, maybe more behind counter

They said something like 240 cases of Hipster Brunch and "only a tiny bit sent to distro" but how much Morning Wood is there? I'm hoping to at least get some of that, I loved it last year and regretted only buying a 4 pack.

 

I saw you there and I thought you look familiar but I couldn't put two and two together. I was about 6 or 7 in line with two buddies. Were you one of those guys who purchased enough to need a dolly to wheel it out? That impressed the hell out of me.

I think OddSide hit it out of the park with Hipster and Morningwood. I had Malted Milk Ball later at Perrin's and Pumpkinmudgeon at Founder's and the OddSide brews were the winner for me today.

 

So, whats the deal with Morningwood this year? Is it imperialized as well? Went out looking for BCBS today (pointless) but found 3 bottles of Morningwood at least.

 

I thought it was 7% but read its higher which would match what I was tasting. Morning wood is a seriously good beer. Imperial Mayan Mocha is top notch and this one is almost as good for its style.

 

So it is a different base beer from last year. Nice. Still seeing a few bottles of Imperial Mayan Mocha around too.

 

Oddside is avidly rely crushing it this year! Hipster Brunch blows BCS out of the water IMO.
