I bought a 2nd bottle of Shenanigans just a week or two ago and that taste had left by then too. But, yeah, I am as much at a loss as to its cause as you.

Hey Coloradans...is this beer still to be found in/around Denver? A friend is willing to go pick one up for me but I'm trying to help him out by avoiding a wild goose chase around the city.

I think it's still relatively common all over town, but I saw a line of bottles at Chambers Wine & Liquor for certain. If your friend knows where Dry Dock is, it's right down the street.

ive seen it in every shop ive been to in the last week or two, shouldnt be hard to track down and if he's not near chambers he probably doesnt need to travel that far.

I'm in Denver for a couple days and would really love to find a bottle or 2 of Tree Shaker. Does anyone know a store that still has it in stock? Mr. B's was no-go so far.

    Thanks a lot!

Seen it at a few stores on the south side of town this week. If you're downtown it's probably 30-40 min away.

Tree Shaker is already off the shelves in Dever? That's kinda crazy. I would check out Liquormart on Colorado Blvd, they seemed to always carry those Cellar Reserve releases longer than most.

I would prefer Avant Peche over this one, but this was still one of their better Cellar Reserves in recent years for me! Cannot wait.

I thought the last batch was great on tap......via the bottle, however, it was a pass.

Agreed with everybody...It should NOT be sold in a 750ml cork and cage (might not even be a full 750ml, I can't remember). I'm very excited to drink mine, but am a bit hesitant. If it were sold in 4 packs, I could drink one and then try it again a week or so later, just to make sure I got a good taste out of it. Having one big bottle is a nuisance.

    Speaking of this predicament,
I think all sours should be sold in smaller formats, like 12oz 4-packs. Much easier to cellar a few and try them as they age as opposed to having to buy 2 Large, expensive bottles of sours. I'm sure this is to make more money, but still, lick a crease, brewers! More 4 pack sours.

In addition to being an incredible beer, that was one of the best things about New Glarus Wild Sour Ale, 4 packs of 12oz bottles (and for $10!)

Yes, as delicious as that beer sounds (haven't had it), it is not worth living in the midwest! Originally from MN and I would not move back ever, even for some delectably sour 4 packs form New Glarus :slight_frown:

Just tried this year's batch for the first time today and I thought it was terrible. That's 2 out of my 3 experiences with this one being bad, I am done with it and defending it.
