Sounds interesting...too bad I will be out of town during that period. Would love to try some of their brews.

Ive had the fff collab. Good, but def different. Piney honey imperial saison. More carbination would do wonders to that beer. Interested to try the other styles.

I've had the Ampel Weiss and Kottbusser...as well as a random BSDA they brewed. Really enjoyed all of them...going to try and nab some Sunday afternoon tickets for this.

Looking forward to the tasty beers, drinks and apparently Dino-smores.

Got an update on this - guest kegs from Perennial, Evil Twin, Mikkeller, Amager, Ommegang, Jolly Pumpkin, and some of John's old beers from Goose Island. I'd highly recommend coming to this event!

It was awesome. John's beers are interesting for sure. His smoked beer sold out in the first hour. They also had a keg of his Goose Island Boring; it is a sour made from grapes and uses Juliet and Lolita as a base. The cocktails were really good as well. Gin and Tonic on cask... no need for it, but a cool party gimmick and it was tasty. I would suggest going tonight.

the Haymarket Half Bock collaboration was really nice...had a great time last night.

There isn't any food (besides some jello cocktails and smores which are extra $), so I'd grab something to eat before you head to Black Rock

I noticed a comment earlier saying "first beer sold out in the first hour"...does that mean you are paying for beers on top of the $40 ticket? or simply saying it was dry after an hour?

No - it's like a festival with unlimited pours included in the ticket price. We had to cut off some of the beers early so that they would be available at today's session as well. The only thing gone is the GI Boring, but it will be replaced with other one-off sours John made that I think everyone will be pleased with.
