Official DLD Hitchhiking.. I mean "RIDE" Thread

    Figured now would me a good time to start one.

    Following information would be ideal to assist in obtaining others for, or planning to catch a ride with, someone to Dark Lord Day 2013:


    Trying to keep this simple to read and easy to understand, so how about this format?

    If there is anything I missed, please add it in.. I will follow this original post up with my own just so people can get an idea. "YES, I will be looking for a ride. Not just providing an example." :grinning:

    • Expected date of Departure: Early morning (3-4 Am) on Saturday the 27
    • Expected date of Return: Sunday the 28
    • Location leaving from: Fort Wayne, Indiana
    • Location staying (if at all): Potential tasting after DLD/ Crashing at friends/ Sleeping in vehicle..etc...
    • Location arriving back to: Fort Wayne, Indiana
    • Willing to Drive or Looking for Ride: Looking for ride. Able to obtain rental car fairly cheep if others want to pitch in for rental expenses. (+ Splitting of gas expense) Trying to obtain a ride first.

    • Willing to Drive or Looking for Ride: Currently six seats left on bus (out of 36). Room for coolers, chairs, etc. as bus can accommodate up to 47. Total cost (round trip) $20 per person. First come first served for the last spots.

    Update to ride situation!!!
    Decided to just rented a vehicle instead of trying to find a ride. This mean 1 extra seat is available in my vehicle. Will Still be leaving from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Plan on taking US30 straight up to Munster. Potential to pickup along the way is a possibility.
    • Expected date of Departure: Early Saturday April 27, 2013 (2-3 Am)
    • Expected date of Return: Sunday April 28, 2013 (Evening)
    • Location leaving from: Fort Wayne, Indiana
    • Location staying (if at all): tbd
    • Location arriving back to: Fort Wayne, Indiana
    • Willing to Drive or Looking for Ride: DRIVING ... Room available in vehicle for one other individual
