No idea what the others are.....yet. Dr. Zeus may be some sort of Beard of Zeus variation, unless we meant to say Beard of Zeus.

That's quite a taplist. Might have to make the trip this year, if I can convince the wife. Would make a nice little Saturday/Sunday trip.

Snozzleberry Griffen: An instantly appealing magenta colored American Wheat Ale made with Oolong tea and blackberries. The rich berry filled aroma suggests an overshadowing of the soft flour-like contributions of the malted wheat. As expected, crisp tart fruity flavors create a pleasantly sour and slightly tangy mouthfeel that leads into a lightly acidic, and semi-dry finish.

Stray Cat -- Experimental Old Ale w/ Granny Smith Apples and Bret
    Alien Einstein
Stroker Ace -- Session IPA w/ Sorachi Ace, Simcoe, and Citra. Made with the final runnings of Aorta.
    Mr. Biscuits
    Dr. Zeus?

Is Stray Cat the same as the Salt of the Earth that was brewed for Beggars Banquet's anniversary? That was tasty. The description sounds similar.

Let's just hope that Double Hangin' Frank is better than Aww Jeah. Really wish I didn't buy a half a case of that last year.

Protip: Try the beer on tap before buying your case.

Aww Jeah is a fantastic beer, IMO. However, your Protip is a good idea for pretty much any beer.

Yeah I made two mistakes that day: buying a half case of Aww Jeah and getting 8 bombers of Dark Lord. That was a LONG day.

Mr. Biscuits: A reddish brown American ale layered with biscuity malt characteristics, fruity yeast esters, and slight nutty aromas. Light grain flavors and a red apple sweetness provide a distinct tang before a dry bready finish.

Definetly going with a group, but we need a spot to throw down some sleeping bags. Any problems with sleeping in the parking lot or is there a park nearby???

  38. HopHeadHerman

    HopHeadHerman Aspirant (264) Feb 9, 2009 Michigan

I would definitely not sleep in a parking lot. I don't know if you've ever been to Bellaire but the county jail is right down the street from "downtown"--I'm sure there will be cops patrolling the area. I would check local campgrounds or chip in and get a hotel room.
