Make sure you can camp there. Cops are cool in the area, but they are especially attentive that night. We got pulled over walking to our hotel last year because we were too loud (and rightfully so as we were singing Flogging Molly the whole way).

Walking is doing the right thing, if they are going to give us shit we could probably have them call us a cab to the park. Camping is only $10 there.

I believe it is called Craven Park. I showed up there once after 2am leaving shorts. Everyone was asleep. We just setup hammocks and left at 6am.

See my post #83? It's damn near exactly a mile away. Not too far to walk for me, but closer would be cool.

Walking is definitely the way to go--I'm pretty sure there are no cab companies in Bellaire.

As my post says, we were too loud (due to drinking all day at the Anniversary bash). Someone called the cops on us, but no biggie, they were cool and just said keep the singing quieter.

Do you know how this is going to work? Do we pay a one time fee to sample what we want, or is it going to be pay as you go?

Dammit! I'm in Traverse City friday night Jim.
Saturday morning bottle share or just stay in TC on Friday night :)

I'm detoxing all week in preparation. We'll see how long that lasts.

if anyone doesn't have a place yet I will shamelessly plug my parent's place in the next town over (Central Lake), Cedars Resort. sleeps up to 4 people per cabin, total of 5 cabins (well or 3, some might still be shut down from winter still). Plenty of room for bottle shares. Plus right on a lake.

I hope you mean gourmet coffee when you say sharing in line. I suspect in the small town of Bellaire the local police would not be amused by a bottle share on the street.

Assuming it's the same as the past 7 years it's pay as you go.

So where is everyone staying? I'm at the Park Place downtown. I'm taking the day off work to make the brewery rounds starting in the afternoon.

Is this going to be the normal "family friendly" pub during the day? I am up at my family farm and there is no telling who might come with me at this point.

It will be packed with people lining up before they open at 3pm to even get a table. Each year it gets busier, and that's not a bad thing IMO.
