The initial reviews had me floored... took me an hour before I was informed on the mix up. WHEW!

I've had 4 drafts so far and it is dadgum spectacular.

Can anyone confirm that there are still bottles at the Station? And their hours online are showing 7am-2am...is that legit?

7am-2am is legit, they do breakfast, lunch, dinner, and then late night. No idea if they still have bottles, sorry. I heard they still had them Sunday afternoon, but didn't see them myself. Typically once stuff hits the Station it tends to move a bit slower (since most everyone that wanted it specifically has picked it up). Think I heard maybe 20-30 cases moved from the brewery to the Station on Saturday.

I’m here now. Still 6ish cases maybe? And it’s available on tap as well.

Awesome, glad you got some! Always amazed that OHB tends to not sell out on the day of. Think they've only sold out completely once or twice on the day of a release. Even Omega Point wasn't sold out day of. Usually my group ends up nearer the front of the brewery for the post-release bottle share so I usually notice the number of people coming down the ramp with cases vs one or two bottles. This time none of us got there particularly early so we had a table near the back of the brewery so I couldn't really tell how many people were getting full cases.

I can't get over how good the beer is. Its got the biscuit flavors reminiscent of Event Horizon and the Chocolaty goodness of Sexual Chocolate. The barrel treatment is much more balanced than Event Horizon. Pure bourbon soaked chocolate goodness!!

Agree. I was really impressed with this beer. Not that I was expecting anything sub par. But I guess I could say it exceeded my expectations for sure.

After having it on draft Friday, Saturday and again right now, along with soloing a bottle on Sunday, I feel like I can weigh in properly regarding this beer. It’s fantastic. I will echo what the previous two posters said. It’s damn near perfect.

Regarding the Kimwell sellout and second release...

SAT AM they were taking names and bottle counts as ppl rolled in. They said they only had 40 cases there but if it looked like they were going to sellout, they could have someone run extra cases from the pub out to the taproom. So I'm guessing at some point after that, they did in fact sellout, but it took longer than expected to get extra cases from the Pub. Actually, pretty great effort on FH's part.

And yes, the beer was great!

Agreed. Way way better than the Silent Night I had yesterday.
