I've only been to Hilton head once a year or two ago. I found the Lodge and figure that's about as good as I will find on the island. Is there a decent bottle shop anywhere on or near the island? Also I made tee times for Monday and Wednesday at 8am. Was supposed to be a twosome both days but playing partner just cancelled. Anyone want to join me? I ain't skeered to play alone but wouldn't mind someone to bullshit with.
Growler's is by far your best option, this time of year the tap list starts rotating pretty good and they do a pretty good job at getting some local stuff.
I'll be down there all week as well. Don't play golf, but could be interested in having a beer or two
Just stopped by Growlers. They were closed. Website gives no operating hours and calling the store goes to busy signal after a few rings. Anyone know if they are only open til 5 or something? Its raining or I would have walked up to see if hours were posted on the shop window.
I went in there right around 5:30 yesterday (Monday). Listening to some of the employees they were floating between the wine shop and growlers.
