Products like this are bound to pop up when things get popular, I am not going to knock it as I have not tried it yet. I can only assume the thinking on BA is that if you need an enhancer then you should not be drinking that beer in the first place. Very curious on how it tastes.

So I carry this bottle around in my murse when I'm out on the town and then whip it out when I'm forced to go to a BMC only bar so I can add more "craft flavor" to my beer? yea, no thanks.

Someone should tell these guys that you cant make chicken shit (bad beer) into chicken salad (good beer). I couldn't come up with a clever way to make it more beer related.

I "might" try it on some BMC beer or something if I find a free sample. I certainly will not pay for it.

Haha suckers. They had no limit so I bought them all. That's right people, I am the exclusive owner of batch 1 on tap american enhancer.

I might trade a squirt if anyone has some Don Quijokesies and Dave.

    What I don't get...

I'm presuming the point is to make a BMC less macro-y. But if that's the point, then why the crap are the two "flavors" Pale Ale and American Ale? And what is "American Ale"? And how is it different from a macro lager? (please refrain from smartass comments about Ale =/= Lager)

If you're going to do this (a decision which is in and of itself questionable), I would think you either want to go hardcore all-in marketing to craft beer fans, and have flavors like Double IPA and BA Stout, or you'd want to market towards people who aren't craft beer fans at all, and make the flavors things like Raspberry Wheat or Fruit Lager.

I've secretly been hoping for a DIPA flavored MiO type product for times when I wanted a beer but had to drink bottled water... like while driving... or at work.

So...I can buy a 20pk of Bud for $13, then a "Pale Ale" enhancer for $4.99 to change 18 of those beers into a fake Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Or, I can buy two six packs of actual Sierra Nevada Pale Ale at $9.99 each? I think I'll spend the extra $1.99...

Love that they use "domestic" in their marketing ... so this product does not work on imports? ;)

ok, so it's not a product intended for the typical BA demographic.
still, how many of these truly fucking awful beer ideas will people throw money at?

this will end up on the shelf of your local $ Store in a few months.

Are the specific flavors recommended for enhancing that style of beer or can I dump it into any flavorless swill and have it become a pale ale?

I'm guessing that if you try to put American Ale enhancer in something like Stella it rejects it and it floats on top of the beer like oil and water.

Mitch Steele wrote about Bert Grant carrying around hop oil to add to any beer he felt wasn't hoppy enough. I could get behind a novelty item like that.

I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it is - is it a Mio for beer?
is it alcohol? It is basically hop extract? malt extract? a combination?
Does it make Bud Light taste like Regular Bud, or Sam Adams?

Couldn't find anything on what exactly is in it. My guess is probably some Lme and hop extract.

At least they were smart enough to moderate them. Makes one wonder just what kind of comments will be approved for publication.
