I got some beer drinking family in town for the holidays and wanted to get some unique Texas bottles for a big dinner celebration. As of now I've only got Adelbert's Sundowner, but was looking to pick up a few more. Any recommendations? Not too picky on style just looking for tasty stuff. What do you guys think about Five Stones? Haven't had anything from them yet but the Norma Jean looked kinda interesting. How about Oddwood Saison?

Haven't had it, but hearing great things about Oddwood's Saison. Get a Yellow Rose too.

Forgot to mention we're going to JK this weekend so probably going to hold off on getting bottles from them until we go up to the brewery.

Oddwood Saison is very solid, definitely worth trying. Yellow Rose too. If Hops and Grain's latest is on the shelves, grab that too

Everything I have had from 5 Stones has been great. Norma Jean was tasty, but I think Toby Gs has been my fave. It's a beer dedicated to the brewer's dad, and he honored him very well with it.

A growler of Sputnik perhaps? Real Ale Coffee Porter is another good option. Lakewood Temptress & Community Legion might still be around as well. If you're open to cider, you should be able to find Argus on the shelves or at JK; I don't know how the other cideries in town are.
