One for the Noobs: Hints and Hauls

12 lucky bottles (and a can) heading north-east in the next week or two, depending on the weather in my target's area. 2 wants, the rest are style-wants...mostly from various Texas breweries, plus 1 well-known style-want that isn't distributed in either of our home states. One of these bottle hasn't received enough reviews to have a rating, but otherwise the avg rating is 90.45!

 

Box is pack and ready to hit the road tomorrow. 176oz of Big Stouts,Little Stout, Double IPAs,Single IPAs and even a Red IPA. Going to a state that has 2 football teams. One has a few superbowl wins and the other has NO Superbowl wins.

 

Got my box all packed up and ready to ship out tomorrow. Should be blowing up a porch on Friday. The person receiving it, who had better be thirsty on Friday, has not been very active on this thread.

i reused the box and shipping materials that i received on friday, so there's going to be some well traveled newspaper stuffing in there.

200.08 oz, if you don't include a duplicate i threw in to have one to age, one to drink fresh.

 

130 oz departing for a sunny state where everyone retires. My target still has not posted get on the ball

 

My box should be landing any time now. I'm guessing from the address that it will not be blowing up someone's porch, but I can't be held responsible for damage done to a place of business.

 

Just finished up my 80 hour work week and now I've got some time off again to focus on the truly important things in life... I'm adding a couple of bottles from a sought after brewery roughly 175 miles northeast of my house. 167.7 oz. compiled thus far with swag ready to go. I'm hoping to have everything packed up this weekend ready to get shipped out next Monday. If I were to attempt to walk the box to my target, it would never get there. No I'm not saying he's located on an island. I'm just saying he's really far away and my big ass would give up long before I got there

 

Just shipped 35.4 lbs of "snowglobes" and "artisanal olive oil". *cough*

Further, it should arrive Thursday. Fed Ex.

 

Box has just been shipped. A little nervous since I've never shipped beer before. I know its packed well- no worries of breakage, but don't want the friendly people at FedEx finding out it's beer and shipping it back to me. If all goes well, it should be arriving in a tourist destination in 4 business days (I'm assuming that means Friday).

 

Package delivered. I thought it was a business address, maybe not?

Dropped my box at FedEx tonight. Target still has not posted in this thread or added wants so I really hope he likes my box of 184oz of mostly style-wants (not including a 12oz. duplicate). Should arrive Thursday.

Here's an easy hint: My target's city has had two different football teams, and there was a period of time where there was no team.

I also have no clue who is sending me beer.

 

I've seen him around before. He's always talking about how people beat him and how the mailman keeps sticking his business through his slot. Poor guy.

 

Both packages dropped off and en route. Expected delivery for both is Friday from KY, so you know it's far away.

 

My box is shipped and is sent with Love cause it will there on the 14th but sorry Target I forgot the flowers and candy.

 

Is it coming to me?

 

I am not sure but it is going north of the Mason Dixon line for sure.

 

I'm starting to get worried--package was delivered 12 hours ago, no word from the receiver.

 

My target didn't update their wants, but did for another BIF at the end of last year... but after calling several stores near their house i found out that several beers on their wants list could be found right around the corner from them... so i had to adjust the contents.

basically, i have done some stalking for this box of beer.

there's a counterpressure filled growler that was filled today in the box. the keg was tapped today also. it's marked "LO HEF".... this is one of my "locals" that i feel will be well received.

 

Somebody that maybe has a ship to address of an office, perhaps on the 6th floor of a building that may or may not have been built in 1886 should really check to see if a package was delivered for them yesterday.
