Online purchasing

    Thought this may be an idea given the Mikkeller online thread and to create awareness of sites that some may not be familiar with. I have had a few online purchases, but everyone has their favorite, either because they have a good range of a particular countries beers or price. So to get the ball rolling here are some that I have found. Also it is the best way to get hold of some beers that you will probably never see in a shop near you. Living in Belfast things are getting better with quite a good few bottle shops selling a good range, but for those harder to get options online is the only way.

    I'd be wary of using Drinkstore again - shipping to Northern Ireland seems to be an issue for them for some reason. I've ordered from them three times and two orders took about three weeks each and the other didn't come at all...

    Good to know that McHughs deliver now though...

    Cheers for that, I haven't bought from them online only in person. To be honest it probably took them 3 weeks to find the beer for your order, took them about 30 mins to find a Thornbridge Russian Imperial Stout for me lol Mates have used McHughs which they think is great, will be putting in an order myself shortly.

    Nope. :flushed: I got an email alert from them, but when I went to the site, could not find it. Don't know if that means it sold out, they usually still have the item on the site even if it's sold out.

    It was there briefly, sold out around 7:40am EST, then went to showing a -2 in stock status, then it was removed.

    Looked at mchughs it's a shame we can't get deliveries to England. Great selection. Anybody know any smaller shops that sell a good selection of american beers online?

    Just used Beergium for the first time, really good selection and excellent service. Delivery was really quick given it was coming from Belgium to Belfast.

    Basically the more you buy the more reasonable they are, I got 4 750ml btls and 2 330ml btls and it was €17
    Not entirely that steep considering the weight and considering that I could have had more for the same shipping charge.
    It was also shipping from Belgium on Monday and arrived with me yesterday.

    Was chatting to the owner and they have 10 pallets on there way, with 200 beers to add to their range in the coming weeks.

    Cheers for this. Looks like a very user friendly web site with a good range. I recently used the Belgium Beer Factory and thought they were great for some cheap staples with an amazing 7 euros shipping for 16 x 333 ml bottles. Took 2 weeks to arrive but wasn't in any rush and all arrived safe and sound being well packaged even with BEER FRAGILE plastered on the side !! :

    +1 for http://www.beerofbelgium.com/en/. Not sure what they're like to Belfast, but took a week from placing the order to my doorstep in the North of England.
    Very reasonable shipping costs, especially if you get a few in. Great selection and availability. Well packaged. Very decent prices.
