I haven't had a chance to make a trip to the Total Wines in Torrance. As a reference point, i compare all stores against Vendome (Toluca Lake), Wally's Wines, and Beverage Wharehouse (MDR)

I've been to Total Wine in Huntington Beach, Brea, and Northridge. I thought the beer selection was about the same at each store, and it was pretty good. You're not going to find the rare Midwest, East Coast stuff like Three Floyds, Founders, Hill Farmstead, Alchemist, etc., but what they carry is substantial IMO. I also like the fact that they sell singles, so I can try lots of different beers without committing to purchasing a bomber or 4/6 pack. The price is decent too.

I heard the beer manager at Torrance Total Wine has some connections, so their selection might be better. For example, I heard they get Alpine beers on occassion. I've never seen Alpine at any other Total Wine.
